LAS CRUCES, N.M. — Students at New Mexico State University had the chance to take a break from school stress during the “Pawsitive Vibes with Therapaws” event Monday, March 9, at the Corbett Center Student Union.

The event invited students to relax, spend time with friendly service dogs, and enjoy a moment away from classes and assignments.

The dogs were excited to meet students and loved getting attention from everyone who stopped by. Many of them previously lived in shelters and are now in loving homes. Events like this help create a positive environment on campus by giving students a simple way to unwind and connect with animals.

Another “Pawsitive Vibes with Therapaws” event will be Monday, March 23, giving more students the opportunity to stop by, relax, and spend time with some adorable dogs.
