LAS CRUCES, N.M. — A great hidden gem in Las Cruces is Paco’s Tacos, located at 1290 Foster Road. I’ve eaten there before, but this time I decided to go with the Birria Taco Plate, which came out to $16 with tip. The plate includes four tacos, both green and red salsa, birria sauce, cilantro, onions and two lime wedges.

I’ve only tried the birria tacos so far but based on how good everything tasted, I’m definitely planning to try more of their menu next time. Paco’s offers a wide range of options, including burgers, quesadillas, desserts, tortas, burritos and an impressive
variety of tacos.

They are open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and stay open for an extra hour until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Their customer service is excellent and the authentic flavors come through thanks to the fresh ingredients they use in every dish.

If you’re looking for a delicious local spot with great food and a welcoming atmosphere, Paco’s Tacos is absolutely worth a visit.
