LAS CRUCES, N.M. — Oct. 1 marked the first meet for the 2025-26 season, featuring the swimming and diving team split into two teams, crimson and white. There were 11 events and by the end, the white team ended up winning with 54 points, while the crimson team finished with 32.
Kodi Wiman and Katie Rink were the stars of the white team, both winning two of their events. On the diving side, the crimson team won the three-round diving competition.
It was close but the white team who had Emily Dobbins, Kodi Wiman, Willow Messner and Caroline Costantini won the 200 Medley Relay and the 200 Freestyle Relay.

The crimson team was right there during the meet, finishing second in half of the races and winning the diving portion of the meet.
Their next meets are at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, and at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, in Las Cruces against Utah Tech University. This should be a great matchup for the Aggies, with the Bisons having a 1-5 record in the 2024-25 season.
